Concert Piano hire

Yamaha S6 Grand Piano

Phil owns a Yamaha S6 ‘hand-crafted’ grand piano (6' 11"), purchased new in 2011, which is available for concert hire. This instrument is suitable for professional solo and chamber music concerts in medium-sized and smaller venues.

A range of other pianos is also available for hire through collaboration with UK piano dealers and technician colleagues. It may be possible to supply an appropriate instrument for your event (concert, wedding receptions and functions, for example).

Instruments available include pianos made by Steinway, Yamaha and Fazioli. The most suitable piano will be selected for the event. An efficient carriage and tuning service is provided, together with liaison with concert promoters and venues, when this is appropriate. All instruments are fully insured.

Steinway Concert Grand Piano

2006 saw the arrival in Hereford of a superb Steinway Model 'D' concert grand piano. This was funded by the Hereford Cider Museum following a gift from an anonymous donor and is for the general benefit of the people of Herefordshire. It is available for use by professional recitalists, serious amateurs and educational establishments. Made in Hamburg in 2003, the piano was personally selected by Martino Tirimo, the distinguished virtuoso recitalist, who described it as “one of the best instruments I have played.”

Please contact Phil for advice and to discuss your requirements.
